Cub Scout Pack 6 Organizational Chart

Pack 6 Organization

The Boy Scouts of America (BSA) has a unique organization structure. Units are 'sponsored' or 'chartered' by chartered organizations. A chartered organization is a community-based group whose objectives, mission and methodologies are compatible with those of the BSA. It agrees to use the Scouting program to further its mission to serve young people.

The Chartered Organization (CO) manages the unit(s) it charters via a representative (the Chartered Organization Representative, or COR) who is part of the unit committee(s). In the case of Pack 6, Troop 44, and Troop 44G, our COR is Kirk Johnson, a member of our CO, American Legion Post 376.

On the BSA side, our local units are part of Texoma Valley District, one of the three districts in the northeast service area of Circle Ten Council (which oversees 18 other districts). Circle Ten is one of 15 councils in National Service Territory 8. Circle Ten Council supports more than 36,000 youth and 8,000 adult volunteers.

Throughout the US, there are a total of 16 National Service Territories servicing 272 Councils (as of 2023).
