Pack 6 PWD Awards

Your scout is eligable for several different awards at our Pinewood Derby event!

*Note: to help make the event more exciting for more scouts, a single racer cannot earn more than one Special award (non-speed-related).

Speed Awards

The fastest racers in the pack earn 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place trophies.

The fastest racers in each den earn Gold, Silver, and Bronze medals.

Scouts are eligible for multiple speed awards (for example, a scout may earn the fastest in their den and fastest in the pack).

Special Awards

In addition to "top places", several special trophies are awarded each year:

Best Theme Design (chosen by committee)

Best Paint Job (chosen by committee)

Cub Scout Pick (chosen by all scouts present)

Scoutmaster's Choice (chosen by the Troop 44 Scoutmaster)

Scouts are not eligible for multiple special awards (for example, a scout could win fastest in the pack and best theme design, but would then be ineligible for best paint job or cub scout pick).
